Susan Jean Kline

Susan Jean Kline, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026. Born on March 8, 1956, in Maryville, Missouri, Sue lived a life full of love, creativity, and dedication to her family and community.

Sue was a graduate of Nodaway Holt High School. She spent her career as a dedicated secretary at Robbins Lightning, where she was known for her meticulous attention to detail and warm personality. Beyond her professional life, Sue was an excellent crafter and painter, sharing her artistic talents with those around her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Douglas Kline, of the home; her son, Travis Kline, and his wife Heather, of Maryville, MO; her brother, Stewart "Stoney" Sportsman, and his wife Susan; her sisters, Sandra Kaufman and Sherri Sportsman; and her cherished grandchildren, Cassidy Kline and Parker Kline. Sue also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her kindness and creativity.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Ermal Sportsman Jr. and Wilda Joan Sportsman, as well as her brothers, Stephen Sportsman and Stanley Sportsman.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation at Bram Funeral Home in Maryville, MO, on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A funeral service to celebrate Sue's life will be held at Graham United Methodist Church in Graham, MO, on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery in Graham, MO.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Maitland Nutrition Site.
