Sharon Kay Hilbert

Sharon Kay Hilbert, a beloved resident of Maryville, MO, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 15th, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on June 27th, 1955, in Maryville, Sharon spent her entire life in the community she held dear.

Sharon was a dedicated Administrative Assistant at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, where she worked for 20 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching scary movies. She enjoyed the friendships she had with her cherished gang at the Legion Canteen. Sharon was always ready for an Applebee's evening with the grandchildren for the 2 for $25 deal.

Sharon is survived by her loving family, including her father, James Ralph Daniels of Maryville, formerly of Bedford, IA; her brother, Jim (Janet) Daniels of Maryville; her daughter, Mindy Neihart of Clarinda, IA; her son, Cody (Carlie) Hilbert of Kansas City, MO; and her cherished grandchildren, Jordan VanGundy and her fiancé Wyatt Schmitt, Colton Neihart, and Meva Hilbert. She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews, Christy (Duane) Freuh and their children of Parnell, MO, Jeremy (Keri) White and their children of Maryville, MO, Renee Willis and her children of Clearmont, MO, and Jason (Jesse) White and their children of Maryville, MO.

Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, Eleanor Marie Daniels.

A memorial visitation will be held at Bram Funeral Home in Maryville, MO, on Tuesday, May 20th, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A memorial service to celebrate Sharon's life will take place at the Bram Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 21st, 2025, at 10:00 am.

Pallbearers honoring Sharon's memory will be Butch Lett, Steve Putnam, Bill Allen, Emmet Petersen, Richard Petersen, and John Boyer.

Arrangements are being handled by Bram Funeral Home, Maryville, MO. Sharon's warmth, kindness, and dedication to her family and community will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
