It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Scott Keith Curry, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Scott was born on Thursday, July 18th, 1957, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 30th, 2025, in Maryville, Missouri, at the age of 68.
Scott was a man of many talents and interests. He proudly served his country in the Navy, specializing in radio communications. After his military service, Scott became a successful business owner, dedicating 20 years to operating Curry WIFI in Maryville, MO. His entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to his work were admired by many.
Scott married the love of his life, Shana Curry, on October 4, 2004, at the Community of Faith Church in Maryville, Missouri. Together, they built a loving family and shared countless memories. Scott was a devoted father to his sons, Trey Weingrad, Tyler (Amber) Weingrad, and Torey (Leta) Weingrad, and his daughters, Christina (Eric) Christensen and Taige Weingrad. He was also a cherished grandfather to Brennon, Serenity, Adyinn, Angel, Brentlee, Cash, Elijah, Abigail, Aleah, Ivy, Elizabeth, Jonathan, Jack, and Catherine.
Scott was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Keith Curry. He is survived by his father, Henry Curry, his sister, Carla (James) Louise Fedigan, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Scott was a man of many passions. He loved hunting, bass fishing, and was an avid golfer. He was also a pro tour bowler and enjoyed playing cards and working with computers. His love for baseball was evident in his roles as a coach, umpire, and even a walk-on tryout for the Braves. Scott was known for his friendly nature and his ability to brighten anyone's day with a conversation.
Visitation will be held at Bram Funeral Home in Maryville, MO, on Thursday, January 8th, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will take place at the same location on Friday, January 9th, 2026, at 11:00 am. A burial will follow at Nodaway Memorial Gardens, Maryville, MO. Pallbearers will include Wyatt Lyle, Torey Weingrad, Tyler Weingrad, Brennon Weingrad, and Trey Weingrad.
Arrangements are being handled by Bram Funeral Home. Scott's legacy of kindness, love, and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by his family, friends, and community.
