Patricia Ann Driskell, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 3rd, 2025, at her home in Maryville, Missouri. Born on July 9th, 1935, in Clyde, Missouri, Patricia lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to her family and community.
A graduate of St. Benedictine and Jefferson High School, Patricia was a dedicated homemaker and a self-employed resident of Maryville, MO. She was a 70-year member of the American Legion Post 464 and was known for her athletic prowess in volleyball, basketball, and softball, remaining active in sports well into her 60s. Patricia also shared her culinary talents by cooking for the Elk's and Lions Club for many years.
Patricia had a deep love for gardening, her chickens, and her beloved dog, "Hosmer." She found joy in visiting casinos and cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her vibrant spirit and love for animals were evident to all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Alphonse and Theresa Frances (Wiederholt-Bliley), and her siblings Bernadine Auffert, Lorine Lager, Pauline Holtman, Rosetta Redden, Ralph Bliley, Mary From, and Robert Bliley. She was also preceded in death by her in-laws, Elbert (Scott) and Alice Driskell.
Patricia was the cherished wife of William Dale (WD) Driskell, with whom she shared a beautiful life. Together, they raised eight children: Jennifer (Stephen) Mullen, Rebecca (Martin) Reynolds, Rhonda (Richard) Campbell, Joyce (Jim) Stewart, Dawn (Mike) Blackney, William Dale Jr. (Karla) Driskell, Kenneth (Debbie) Driskell, and Michael Driskell. Her legacy continues through her numerous grandchildren, Scott, Shane (Ryan), Ashley (Nathan), Heath (Ashley), Heather (OJ), Hilary (Saul), Justin, Joel (Sarah), Jessica, Ryan (Amanda), Robbie, Kevin (Meg), Kyle (Cameron), Brandon (Bre), Shannon, Madison (Tyson), Amanda, Kimberly, Drew, Machaela (Sean), Myles (Hannah), and several great-grandchildren, Thomas, Jacob, Daniel, Matthew, Claire, Tatum, Madden, Krew, Reygan, Thayer, Elaina, Henry, Anthony, Noah, Lilly, Daisy, Rosie, Adalyn, Stella, Michael, Jackson, Brady, Charlie, Siyan, Laken, Rory, Tucker, Hayven, Kingston, Reece, Delaney, Mack, who brought immense joy to her life.
A Rosary service will be held at St. Gregory Barbarigo Parish in Maryville, MO, on Thursday, November 6th, 2025, from 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm, followed by a visitation from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will take place at the same location on Friday, November 7th, 2025, at 11:00 am with a burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Maryville, Missouri. Pallbearers will include Brandon Driskell, Drew Driskell, Myles Blackney, Heath Reynolds, Ryan Campbell, Robbie Campbell, Scott Mullen, Justin Driskell, Joel Driskell, and Shane Mullen. Honorary Pallbearers will include Steve Mullen, Martin Reynolds, Karla Driskell, Richard Campbell, Jim Stewart, Debbie Driskell, and Mike Blackney.
Arrangements are being handled by Bram Funeral Home. Patricia's warmth, kindness, and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of her family and friends.
