Nancy Sue (Cox) Ogle, 72, of Maryville, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at her daughter’s home near Ravenwood, Missouri, surrounded by family.
Nancy was born in Clarinda, Iowa, on July 8, 1951, her parents were Wayne Carl and Phyllis Naomi (Drennen) Cox, they preceded her in death. She had been a resident of Clearmont since 1975 and moved to Maryville in 2019.
She graduated from New Market, Iowa high school in 1969.
On July 12, 1969, in Blockton, Iowa, she was united in marriage to William E. “Bill” Ogle. Bill passed away on February 26, 2018. She was also preceded by her 2 brothers, John Edward and Carl Dean Cox, her daughter, Tammy Ogle, her son, Christopher John Ogle, and her grandson, Michael John Ogle.
She had been a member of the Clearmont Christian, and the Clearmont Methodist Churches. She liked to garden and to crochet and liked her card games at the Davison Square.
Nancy had done many things in her life. She had worked at the Hy-Vee, The Meat Clever, worked at Radio Shack, she was a caregiver for the Association of Group Home, Maryville, she took in mending and alterations, she babysat, she sold educational toys, she painted propane tanks for Humphrey’s Oil in Clearmont, and most importantly was a devoted housewife, mother and grandmother, and was very devoted to her dog, Sweet Pea.
She leaves behind 1 daughter-in-law, Cindy Ogle, Broken Bow, Nebraska, and her 4 children, William D. (Laura) Ogle, Gravity, Iowa, Tracie (Jim) Price, Ravenwood, Missouri, Misty (Jason) Kaufman, Clark, Wyoming, and Angela Diaz, Royse City, Texas, her sister, Ruth Ann (Glen) Lund, Yutan, Nebraska, her 23 grandchildren, Hope, Parker, KylieDean, Kenna, Kourtney, Kelsey, Kristen, Kayla, Karoline, Rebecka, Sara, Amanda, Hanna, Stephanie, Maverick, Samantha, Shaelynn, Tyrell, Austin, John, Sarah-Yvonne, Jose, and step granddaughter Shanon, and 10 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 PM, on Friday, May 31, 2024, at the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville. The burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Clearmont, Missouri.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, or the Nodaway County Senior Center, or the Oak Hill Cemetery Association, Clearmont, Missouri.
