It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michelle DeAnne McMillen, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Michelle passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 20th, 2025, at the age of 54, at her home in Maryville, MO, with family by her side.
Born on August 16th, 1971, in Maryville, MO, Michelle was a lifelong resident of the community. She was the daughter of Ramona Joyce Harrington and the late Jerrold Duane Harrington. Michelle was preceded in death by her father, her sister Vickie Gladman, and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Shirley and Kenneth McMillen.
Michelle is survived by her devoted husband, Kevin S. McMillen, and their cherished daughter, Kenzie McMillen, both of Maryville. She is also survived by her loving mother, Ramona Harrington, and her sisters, Lisa Wheeler of Maryville and Cindy (Ron) Melvin of Norwalk, IA. Michelle leaves behind her sisters-in-law, Kenna (Denny) Parman of Maryville and Sherry Parman of Barnard, MO, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and countless friends who will miss her dearly.
Michelle worked at Citizens Bank and Trust in Maryville, MO, for 7 years. She then took on a medical transcribers job working from home for 8 years in that role. She held an associate's degree in secretarial studies and was known for her professionalism and warm demeanor. most recently, Michelle was a homemaker, making more time for for her family.
Outside of work, Michelle had a passion for life and adventure. She loved camping, scrapbooking, and traveling, with a particular fondness for visiting Disney, exploring wineries, and admiring lighthouses along the shores and she never met a beach she didn't like. Above all, Michelle cherished the time spent with her family, and she lived for and loved her husband and daughter.
A visitation will be held at Bram Funeral Home in Maryville, MO, on Tuesday, December 23rd, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am in the funeral chapel. Honorary pallbearers will include Casey Parman, Jessie Prettyman, Betsy Nespory, Mike Melvin, and Kristi DeJoseph. Michelle's wishes were to be cremated after the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Ascera Care Hospice or The American Cancer Society, in Michelle's memory.
Arrangements are under the care of Bram Funeral Home, Maryville, MO. Michelle's warmth, kindness, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
