It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Patrick Henggeler, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Michael was born on January 1, 1984, in Maryville, Missouri, and passed away on October 28, 2025, at Mosaic Medical Center in Maryville, MO.
Michael was a dedicated laborer working for Nodaway County Road and Bridge. He was a devoted cattleman, founding and building Henggeler Cattle Company with his dad Kenny. His commitment to his work was matched only by his devotion to his family and community. A proud member of the Knights of Columbus - Conception Council, Michael was also a passionate coach for summer league baseball, sharing his love for sports with his children and the youth in his community.
Michael's life was filled with the joys of family and the great outdoors. He cherished every moment spent with his wife and children, Jared (14), Lauren(12), and Kyle (6) whether it was enjoying sports events, trout fishing, or deer hunting. His love for cooking, especially smoking and barbecuing, was well-known among family and friends, and his huge smile and willing heart left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eugene Henggeler, Al Baker, and Betty Baker; his brother-in-law, Jared Stubblefield; his uncle, Phillip Henggeler; and his aunt and uncle, Mary Ann and Larry Sackman.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Julia Henggeler, and their children, Jared, Kyle, and Lauren, all of Guilford, MO. He is also survived by his parents, Kenny and Chris Henggeler of Stanberry, MO; his sister, Beth Henggeler of St. Louis, MO; his grandmother, Ann Henggeler; and his parents-in-law, Jeff and Jolene Stubblefield of Maryville, MO. Michael leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends who will miss him dearly.
A Rosary will be held at St. Columba Parish in Conception Junction, MO, on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm, followed by a visitation from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The funeral service will take place at the same location on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 10:30 am.
Pallbearers will include Nate Larabee, Jared McQueen, Jeremy McQueen, Joey Adcock, Chris McCrary, and Chris Strueby. Honorary pallbearers will be his children, Jared, Kyle, and Lauren Henggeler.
Arrangements are being handled by Bram Funeral Home. Michael's legacy of kindness, hard work, and love for his family and community will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, send memorials to the Education Memorial Fund for Mike's children at Bank Northwest of Stanberry.
