Michael John Molnar, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 2nd, 2026, at the age of 45. Born on December 4th, 1980, in Ontario, Canada. Michael was a cherished resident of Burlington Junction, MO, where he built a life filled with hard work, love, and laughter.
Michael is survived by Lacie Molnar, and their two children, son Dre Mires of Burlington Junction, MO, and daughter Zoe Molnar, who brought immense joy to his life. He is also survived by his earth parents, Alisha Mick, John Mires, and Gail Tumbler, his life brothers, J.T. Laun of Maryville, MO, James Wynn of Burlington Junction, MO, and Josh Carpenter of Clearmont, MO, as well as his brother Jonathan Mires. His very supportive and special aunts, Jessica Jones and Harriet Bagwell, and his nephews, Truett Mires and Ryker Mires, will fondly remember their uncle's warmth and kindness.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Barb Barton, and his great-grandparent, affectionately known as "Pop," Michael's legacy of love and dedication to family will continue to inspire those who knew him.
Michael was a skilled professional in HVAC and pool construction. His commitment to his craft was matched only by his dedication to his country, having served honorably in the National Guard.
A man of many passions, Michael loved road trips and traveling, camping, snowmobiling, and rock hunting in the local rivers and streams. He cherished spending time with friends and family, always the faithful dad and dog owner, whose love knew no bounds.
A funeral service to celebrate Michael's life will be held at First Christian Church in Burlington Junction, MO, on Saturday, April 4th, 2026, at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Ohio Cemetery in Burlington Junction, MO. Pallbearers will include Josh Carpenter, Jonathan Mires, J.T. Laun, James Wynn, Kasey Herzberg, Tim Lewis, and his son, Dre Mires.
Arrangements are being handled by Bram Funeral Home, ensuring that Michael's final journey is one of dignity and respect.
Michael John Molnar will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and his memory will be cherished forever.
