Mary Ann Linville, a beloved resident of Graham, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 2nd, 2026, at the age of 79 in Maryville, Missouri. Born on December 23rd, 1946, in Maryville, Missouri. Mary Ann was a cherished member of her community, known for her warmth, kindness, and dedication to her family and friends.

Mary Ann was a graduate of Graham High School, Class of 1964. She dedicated much of her life to nurturing young minds as a cook at Nodaway Holt School in Graham, Missouri, where she worked from 1981 until her retirement in 2007. Her love for cooking extended beyond her professional life, as she was known for her delicious meals and her passion for bringing people together around the table.

A woman of many talents, Mary Ann enjoyed sewing, embroidering, and quilting. Her handiwork was a testament to her patience and creativity. She was a former member of the Jolly Mixers Social Club in Graham, MO, where she formed lifelong friendships and shared countless laughs.

Mary Ann's family was the center of her world. She was a devoted mother to her son, James Bradley (Cindy) Linville of Maitland, MO, and her daughter, Shannon (Rex) Heitman of Maryville, MO. Her legacy lives on through her four grandchildren, Connor (Chelsea) Heitman, Shelby (Liam) Roach, Brady Heitman, and Sarah Linville, as well as her great-grandchildren, Eloise "Ellie" Heitman and Lucas Roach. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will forever cherish her memory.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Logan Linville; her parents, Ermal and Goldie Ruth Sportsman; her brothers and brothers-in-law, Junior, Raymond, Kenneth Sportsman, Francis Darby, and Ronnie Morin; her sister and sisters-in-law, Dorothy Darby Morin, Joan, Edith, and Marilyn Sportsman; and her parents-in-law, James Isaac and Ruby Linville.

In her leisure time, Mary Ann enjoyed playing card games and Yahtzee, shopping, reading, and solving word searches. She was an avid fan of the General Hospital soap opera and found joy in the company of her beloved cats.

A funeral service to celebrate Mary Ann's life will be held at Graham United Methodist Church in Graham, MO, on Saturday, October 10th, 2026, at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery in Graham, MO. Arrangements are being handled by Bram Funeral Home.

Mary Ann Linville will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her generous spirit, and her ability to bring joy to those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
