Mary Lou (Millard) Bradley passed away on September 24, 2025, at Oak Pointe of Maryville, where she resided since February of 2025. During the last eight months Mary made many friends, including residents and staff.
Mary was born on January 13, 1936 in Fairmont, MN. She was the oldest of three daughters born to Ray C. Millard and Berniece (Henderson) Millard. Mary and her parents moved to California before Mary turned one year old. She was joined by sisters Pat and Elsie soon after. Later, sisters Sandy and Rayette were born to Ray C. Millard and Eleanor (McCowan) Millard in Ventura, CA.
In 1955, Mary married Bobby Arthur Bradley of Santa Paula, CA in Las Vegas, NV. Mary was a proud military wife to Bob who served in the United States Air Force for over 20 years. She loved the military life on base because of the opportunities it provided, as well as the close community it provided for their family. Mary and Bob raised three boys during this time; Scott, Rick, and Randy. After being stationed in California, Scotland, New Mexico, and Texas, they retired in Camarillo, CA. In 1972, they relocated to Exeter, CA and in 2007 to Maryville, MO.
Mary was very active in the communities in which she lived. She was a member of the Oxnard, CA and Exeter, CA Women’s Clubs; Eastern Star of Ventura, CA and Exeter, CA; The American Legion Auxiliary of Ventura, CA and Exeter, CA. She also served on the Tulare, CA Grand Jury and was named Woman of The Year by the Exeter, CA Chamber of Commerce. Mary was a member of Laura Street Baptist Church, Maryville, MO.
Preceding her in death were her parents, sisters Elsie Young and Patty Mitchell, mother and father-in-law Emma and John Arthur Bradley, sisters-in-law Maxine Nasalroad and Darlene Brixey. Survivors include sons Rick A. Bradley (Mona) of Maryville, MO; Scott Bradley and Randy Bradley. Surviving grandchildren are Audra (Justin) Siemer and daughters Stella and Lily Siemer of Maryville, MO; Cauleen (Jeff) Smith and their children Avery and Mason Pick, Ryland, Chestin and Shiloh Smith of Kansas City, MO; Jeremy Bradley, Mandy (Jacob) Martinez and their children Madeline, Siena, Everlie, Dominic and Theodore Martinez, and Jason Bradley and his children Jaylie and Malakai Bradley all of California, and Dylan Bradley. Mary is also survived by two sisters, Sandy (Ernie) Vega and Rayette (Michael) Dooley of Ventura, CA, along with nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.
A graveside service will take place at 11:00 a.m., September 27, 2025, at Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Bram Funeral Home, Maryville, MO. Memorials may be made to Laura Street Baptist Church.
