Margaret Ann Saville, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 1st, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on, January 13th, 1952, in Maryville, MO, Margaret spent her entire life in the community she cherished.
Margaret was a dedicated educator, having earned her teaching degree from Northwest Missouri State University. She devoted her career to nurturing young minds at Guilford, MO. Her passion for education extended beyond the classroom as she also ran a daycare for many years, touching the lives of countless children and their families.
A member of Modern Mothers, Margaret was known for her warm heart and generous spirit. She found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Margaret had a love for music and was an avid card sender, always remembering to send thoughtful notes for every occasion to friends and family alike.
Margaret is survived by her devoted husband, Rodney Lee Saville, of Maryville, MO; her loving daughters, Megan Carter of Maryville, MO, and Erin Fletchall of Grant City, MO; her brothers, Kenneth Hunt of Mount Ayr, IA, and Keith (Rhonda) Hunt of Milo, IA; and her sister, Marjorie Tully of Iowa City, IA. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Matthew Saville, Levi Carter, Alyssa Fletchall, and Katie Fletchall, as well as her great-grandchildren, Nova Carter, Cruze Carter, Logan Saville, and Dax Saville. Margaret's legacy also lives on through her many students, daycare kids, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Amon Hunt and Lois Hunt; her parents-in-law, Elvin and May Saville; her sister, Rebecca Hunt; a nephew Kelly Hunt; sister-in-law, Maggie Hunt; niece, Katie Tully.
Visitation will be held at Bram Funeral Home in Maryville, MO, on Monday, August 4th, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A funeral service to celebrate Margaret's life will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 5th, 2025, at 2:00 pm. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Matthew Saville, Levi Carter, Alyssa Fletchall, and Katie Fletchall.
Arrangements are under the care of Bram Funeral Home. Margaret's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their support and condolences during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Margaret's memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting her lifelong commitment to helping others.
