Margaret Jean Clark ,94, of Burlington Jct. passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025, in Maryville. She was born March 27, 1931, in Burlington Jct., Missouri, daughter of the late Gerald and Beulah Boyer.
Her family lived in the Quitman area where she attended school until the early 1940s when they moved to the farm south of Burlington Jct., MO. Margaret Jean was an honor student and after graduating from Burlington Jct. High School, she attended Northwest Missouri State College for three years before starting to work at the Federal Land Bank. Margaret Jean was a very talented piano player and enjoyed playing the music for community events, weddings, and funerals for many years. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Margaret Jean Boyer and CD Clark both attended and graduated from school at Burlington Jct., MO. CD worked on the farm and spent two years serving in the U.S. Army. After seven years of close friendship, they decided to get married on September 5, 1954 and enjoyed life together on the farm for the last 71 years.
Margaret Jean was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Herschel Boyer, and two sisters, Audrey Staples and Irene Thompson-Jones.
Survivors include her husband, C.D. Clark of the home, her son David Clark, Burlington Jct., and three grandsons, Byron (Robin), Stuart, and Wesley Clark. There are no services planned at this time. Interment will be held at a later date. Bram Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
