Linda was the devoted daughter of the late George Lee Neumeyer and Mary Louise Neumeyer. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jesse Eugene Everhart Jr., with whom she shared many wonderful years.
A proud graduate of Hopkins High School's Class of 1969, Linda pursued higher education with vigor, earning her Bachelor of Science degree from Northwest Missouri State University in 1972 and later a Master's degree from Maryville University. Linda's life was enriched by her involvement in various organizations. She was a Rainbow Girl in high school and served as the first president of Gamma Omicron at Pacific. Her love for reading was matched only by her enthusiasm for sports, particularly her devotion to the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Linda is survived by her three children, who were the pride and joy of her life: Jenna Hudson of Dripping Springs, TX; Jill Downey of Wildwood, MO; and Joseph Everhart of Hopkins, MO. She was a cherished grandmother to eight grandchildren: Annie Hudson, Shelby Hudson, Georgia Hudson, Hope Bockskopf, Oscar Downey, Olivia Downey, Rylee Kennedy, and Ryder Everhart, who will all miss her dearly. She is also survived by her dear Aunt Zattie Lewis.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, by her in-laws, Jesse and Lois Everhart, Jeanie Vorhies, and Julie Markley, who were an integral part of her extended family.
