Leslie David Hill, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 16th, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on May 15th, 1960, in Maryville, Missouri to Harold and Yvonne Hill.
Leslie was a graduate of South Nodaway High School. He dedicated his career to working as a dozer operator for Harold L. Hill and Sons Construction, and his strong work ethic and dedication were qualities he instilled in his children, setting an example for them to follow.
A man of many passions, Leslie was an avid fan of Chiefs football and Cardinals baseball. He found joy in mushroom hunting, collecting sports memorabilia, fishing, and camping in a tent. His love for the outdoors was matched only by his love for his family and pets. Leslie was known for his generosity towards his children and his devotion to his grandchildren, whom he adored and snuggled at every opportunity.
Leslie was a faithful and devoted son, visiting his father daily after the passing of his mother. His commitment to family was unwavering, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication.
Leslie is survived by his loving wife, Annette Hill, of the home; his daughter, Nichole Lance of Maryville, MO; his son, Ky Hill, and wife Karissa of Maryville, MO; and his cherished grandchildren, Dinah Lance, Whitaker Hill, and Watson Hill. He is also survived by his sisters, Carol Kamtz, Sonja Wilmes, Roberta "Bobbi" (Gary) Baker, Rebecca "Becky" Goodwin, and sister-in-law Vanessa Hill, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Leslie Hill and Yvonne Lee Hill; his brother, Marty Hill; his father-in-law, Bernard Gast; and his brother-in-law, Warren Kamtz.
Visitation will be held at Bram Funeral Home in Maryville, MO, on Tuesday, April 21st, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will take place at the same location on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2026, at 10:00 am.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
Arrangements are being handled by Bram Funeral Home. Leslie's family invites all who knew him to join in celebrating his life and cherishing the memories he leaves behind. His generous spirit, love for his family, and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
