Kip Raymond Kelso, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the age of 63. Born in Jefferson City, Missouri on February 12, 1963, Kip was a long-time member of the Guilford community.

Kip had a passion for motocross, rock music, hunting, and fishing. He also enjoyed watching movies and cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren, who were the light of his life.

Kip is survived by his children: daughters Monica Kelso of St. Joseph, Missouri, and Kimberly Violett of Guilford, Missouri; sons Jay Kelso of Conception Junction, Missouri, and Hunter (Brenda) Kelso of Guilford, Missouri. He is also survived by his longtime companion, Bonnie Rodriguez, who shared many years of love, companionship, and special memories by his side; his brother, Nick (Dixie) Kelso; and his treasured grandchildren: Kaylie, Chase, Emily, Charlie, Karter, Luke Jr., Lane, Karsyn, Sage, Kynleigh, and great-grandchild Juniper.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glade Eldon Kelso and Donna Frances Kelso; his sister, Bille Suzanne Draper; uncles Bill C. Kelso and Christopher Franklin Kelso; and his son-in-law, Luke Violett.

A graveside service to honor Kip's life will be held at Weathermon Cemetery in Guilford, MO, on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 1:00 pm. Arrangements are being handled by Bram Funeral Home.

Kip's legacy of love, laughter, and adventure will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
