It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kerry Theresa Bowman, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Kerry passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 28th, 2026, at the home of her parents, surrounded by family, at the age of 33.
Kerry was born on September 20th, 1992, in Maryville, Missouri. She was a graduate of Maryville High School and was a CNA at Grove Nursing Home and was working to further her nursing certification as a student at NE Tech in Oklahoma.
Kerry's life was a testament to the love and dedication she had for her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Charles Bowman, and their cherished son, Oliver Bowman. She leaves behind her loving parents, Roger and Debra Stiens of Maryville, MO, and her mother-in-law, Anita (William) Waters. Kerry was a beloved sister to Athena (Billy) Mires, Jessica Stiens, Gina (Matt) Wray, Alicia Stiens, Annessa (Robert) Goff, and Kelsey (Johnny) Breeding. She was also a dear sister-in-law to Arianna (Shawn) Shadwick and Harold Bowman.
Kerry's legacy continues through her numerous nieces and nephews: Alexis, ReAnne, Katlyn, Braden, Brittany, Austin, Dakota, Sarah, Tristen, Emma, Hailey, Kaden, Olivia, Cora, Josh, Ellie, Josephine, Sammy, Kaprece, Kloey, Cash, Cage, and seven great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, Donald and Rowena Stiens, Ora Wiley Jr. and Sarah Wiley, her aunt, Ronda Wiederholt, and her niece, Lulu Shadwick.
Kerry's life was enriched by her many interests and hobbies. She had a passion for art, including wood burning, painting, and drawing, and she found joy in making blankets. Her cat, Gene, was a constant companion. Kerry cherished spending time with her son, Oliver, and enjoyed traveling, solving puzzles, playing games, and reading.
Family was the cornerstone of Kerry's life, and she adored her sisters and their children. Her warmth, kindness, and creativity touched everyone who knew her.
A Rosary will be held at St. Gregory Barbarigo Parish in Maryville, MO, on Thursday, July 30th, 2026, from 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm, followed by a visitation from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at the same location on Friday, July 31st, 2026, at 11:00 am.
Arrangements are being handled by Bram Funeral Home. Kerry's family invites all who knew her to join in celebrating her life and cherishing the memories she leaves behind.
