Kade Alexander Maupin, 28, of Maryville, MO, and formerly of the Skidmore, MO area, passed away unexpectedly on November 6, 2023, at the Community Hospital in Fairfax, MO, after a accident at his job.
Kade was born on December 11, 1994, in Fairfax, MO, to Alex and Natisha (Brown) Maupin. Kade was a lifelong resident of the area.
He grew up on the families 5 generation farm in the Skidmore, MO area. He graduated from West Nodaway High School, Burlington Junction, MO, and then earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Media from Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville.
Kade’s paternal grandparents, Jack and Mary Maupin preceded him in death, as well as his maternal grandfather, Lavelle Brown, Sr.
He was an accomplished self-taught musician and played several instruments. He wrote and performed his own songs and would make up songs too. He was kindhearted and enjoyed the time spent with his wife and daughter, Lilly. He also loved his family and spending time with them. He was of the Christian faith.
He married Cheyenne Marie Wilmes on March 25, 2023, at Mozingo Lake, Maryville, and she survives of the home.
His other survivors include his daughter, Lillian Christine “Lilly” Maupin, Tarkio, MO, his parents, Alex and Natisha Maupin, Skidmore, MO, his sister, Cassie (Trent), and their daughter, Macklyn Ireland, Trenton, MO, his brother, Keevin Maupin, Skidmore, MO, his maternal grandmother, Sharon Brown, Maryville, MO, and many aunts, uncles, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 PM, on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM, on Friday, November 10, 2023, at the Bram Funeral Home. The burial will follow in the Nodaway Memorial Gardens, Maryville, MO.
