Judith Parietti, 72, of Maryville, MO, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at the Maryville Living Center, Maryville, MO.
Judy was born on April 3, 1945, in Panama Canal Zone, United States Territory, her parents were Charles Stepp, and Margaret Wood Stepp, and preceded her in death. Judy was raised in the CZ where her father had spent 8 years in the Army, and later worked as a civilian there for 30 years.
She attended Cristobal High School in the Canal Zone. After graduation she attended Katherine Gibbs school in Boston, MA, where she met her future husband, Chuck.
In 1977, she graduated from LPN School at NWMSU in Maryville. She worked many years as a ER Nurse in Maryville, and in Ashebobo, NC, Burlington VT, and Medina, OH. She was of the Catholic faith.
Besides her family, Judy’s other passion was raising, training, and attending national competitions with German Shorthair Pointers. In addition, she was an ardent horse rider and outdoor lover throughout her adult life.
Judy married Charles “Chuck” Parietti, in Waterford, NY, on September 25, 1965. Judy and Chuck lived all over the US during Chuck’s 35-year career with Energizer. They eventually retired in Maryville in 1999.
Survivors include her husband Chuck, of the home in Maryville; 2 children, Sara Snow, of Islamorada, FL Keys, and Scott Parietti, of Los Angeles, CA; 2 grandchildren, Alex Snow, Maryville, MO, and Sydney Snow, Islamorada.
Judy has been cremated under the direction of the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO.
