Judith Ann Coffelt, a beloved resident of Maryville, Missouri, passed peacefully at home on Saturday, May 10th, 2025, at the age of 82.

Born in Maryville on January 28th, 1943, to James and Estel Lee Mann (Scadden), Judith formerly had lived in Savannah, then many years on the family farm East of Ravenwood and then to Maryville in 2006. Judith lived a full and dedicated life.

Judith was a proud 1961 graduate of Ravenwood High School in Ravenwood, Missouri. Her career spanned various roles. For years, she was a committed production worker at Energizer Battery, retiring in 2006. Before Energizer she brought her friendly smile and work ethic to several local establishments, including A&W Root Beer, the Lunch Box, Woolworth's, and Kmart, all in Maryville. Lastly, she worked in the lunchroom at Eugene Field Elementary School.

Judith was a cherished member of her community. She was a Christian and longtime member of the Ravenwood Christian Church. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. She liked making ceramics, riding horses, volleyball, softball, watching the Game Show network, and seeing all her kids and grandkids.

She married Gary Coffelt, on November 16, 1962, he survives of the home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers-in-law, LeRoy Coffelt and Tim Coffelt, both of Ravenwood, MO.

Other survivors include her children, Ted Coffelt, Ravenwood, Troy (Wendy) Coffelt, Ravenwood, and Tammy (Matt) Sorensen, Branson West, Missouri, sisters-in-law, Elaine Coffelt, Ravenwood, and Gail (Ed) Owens Savannah, MO, 9 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 5-7:00 PM, on Friday, May 16, 2025 at the Bram Funeral Home in Maryville, Missouri, where family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate her life and pay their respects. Cremation will follow the visitation. A private family burial will take place at a later date.

Judith’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their condolences and support during this difficult time. They also wish to thank Bram Funeral Home for their thoughtful arrangements and services.

The family suggests donations be made to the Ravenwood Christian Church, or Three Rivers Hospice.

Judith Ann Coffelt will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know her. Her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of those she left behind.
