Joyce Elaine "Joy" Wright

Joyce Elaine “Joy” Wright, 69, of Maryville, Missouri, passed away at home on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

Joy was born in Harrisonville, Missouri, on March 19, 1956, her parents were Willis Warren and Irene Vivian (Jensen) Wright. They preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her sister, Willa Mae Charlotte Wright.

She moved to Maryville in 1981, and was a longtime employee of NOCOMO Industries.

Joy leaves behind her siblings, Kathy (Lewis) Rice, Susie Wright, and Frank Wright, all of Maryville, and her nieces, nephews, and a great nephew, Bob (Sarah) Rice, and their son Alex (Alyssa) Rice, with Asher Rice, Sarah (Travis) Woodward, and their children, Charlotte and Peyton Woodward, and Nate (Christina) Rice.

Joy has been cremated under the care of the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the Bram Funeral Home. The burial will be later in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Hill, Missouri.
