Heath N. Goff

Heath Newell Goff, 50, of Maitland, Missouri, passed from this life on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, with family at his side.

Heath was born in St. Joseph, Missouri, on May 28, 1974, to Larry Newell Goff and Madeline (Bird) Butzer.  He was a lifelong resident of the area.

Heath graduated in 1992 from the Nodaway-Holt High School.   He was involved in Ag at school and was very proud of being a member of the 2-time undefeated and State championship football teams.

He liked to hunt, to fish and enjoyed hunting deer and mushrooms with his sister.  He liked family get togethers and games, and especially a washer board game with the old versus young tournament.

His dad Larry passed away in 2015.

He leaves behind his son, Chase Newell Goff, of the home, his mother and step father, Madeline and Fred Butzer, his brother, Mike (Laura) Wakely, Graham, Missouri, his sister, Leigh Ann (Timothy Todd) Lewis, Maryville, Missouri, his nieces and nephews, Morgan, Paige and Alex Lewis, and Mason, Logan, Wyatt and Jasmine Wakely, and many great nieces, nephews, former wife and close friend, Meagan Morrow, and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time on Thursday at the Bram Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 PM, on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
