George Alvin Harris

George Alvin Harris, a beloved husband, father, pampaw, and friend, passed away peacefully, with family at his side, on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the age of 68. Born in Lincoln, Nebraska, to Bill and Virginia Harris on September 27, 1957. George grew up In Clearmont, MO. He married Rhonda K. Fuller on November 12, 1982 and moved to Burlington Junction. George resided there for the rest of his life with his loving wife, Rhonda K. Harris.

George was a graduate of West Nodaway High School and dedicated 45 years of his life to his craft as a Brick Mason Foreman at Smith Brothers Masonry in Clearmont, MO. Known as a true master of the trade, he trained many individuals throughout his career, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege to work alongside him.

A man of many talents, George was always working on something. He took great pride in bricking his own home and building his garage. His love for nature was evident in his gardening and his dedication to feeding the local wildlife, including birds, squirrels, and raccoons. Every year, he gathered corn and walnuts for his animals, some of which would eat right from his hand. In his later years, George found joy in whittling, working on puzzles, and creating elaborate figurines that he painted with care. He was also an avid fan of NCIS and the Hallmark Channel.

George is survived by his devoted wife, Rhonda, of the home; his daughter, Kenzie (Brad) Wallace; his sons, Nicholas (Amie) Harris and Zack (Amanda) Harris, all of Maryville, MO; his mother-in-law, Beverly Fuller; his brothers, Steve (Jackie) Harris, Bill (Janice) Harris, and Gary (LaDonna) Harris; his sister, Linda (Don) Seipel; and his cherished grandchildren, Creason, Dash, Cooper, Sager, Colette, Olyvia, Wade, and Wesly. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.

George was preceded in death by his parents, William E. Harris and Virginia Mae Harris, as well as his father-in-law, Lyle "Babe" Fuller.

Visitation will be held at Bram Funeral Home in Maryville, MO, on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. A funeral service will take place at the same location on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 10:00 am. Pallbearers will include Kenzie Wallace, Nicholas Harris, and Zack Harris, with honorary pallbearers being his beloved grandchildren. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Clearmont. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Clearmont Community Club or he American Legion Auxillary in Burlington Jct., MO.

Arrangements are under the care of Bram Funeral Home. George's legacy of hard work, love for family, and passion for life will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
