Forrest E. Fannon, 86, of Stanberry, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at the Pine View Manor in Stanberry.
Forrest was born on December 2, 1937, in Bedison, Missouri, and was a lifelong resident of the area. His parents were Geroge Elbert and Goldie Jane (Gilbert) Fannon and preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death his 3 brothers, Verlin D., George D., and Larry E. Fannon, his son in law, Steve Piper, and his wife, Donna.
Forrest was a member of the last graduating class at Horace Mann High School, Maryville, MO, class of 1955. He was a farmer all his life and had worked for 5 years with the Missouri Department of Corrections.
He was a member and attended the former R.L.D.S. Church, Bedison, Missouri.
On October 9, 1958, in Albany, MO, Forrest was united in marriage to Donna L. Barnes. She passed away in 2013.
He leaves behind his children, Daniel (Shirley) Fannon, Stanberry, Missouri, his daughter, Deborah Piper, Ravenwood, Missouri, his brother, Robert (Jerri) Fannon, Conception Junction, Missouri, and his sister, Sharon Williams, Fillmore, Missouri, 3 grandchildren, Shawn (Chuck) Huff, Deidre Mendez, and Nicholas Piper, 4 great grandchildren, Charles Michael Huff, Samantha Huff, Eva Mendez, and Logan Mendez, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and burial will be on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at the Swinford Cemetery, Arkoe, Missouri. No formal visitation is planned.
Services are under the direction of the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri.
