Donna Lee Dailey

Donna Lee Turnipseed Dailey, 83, of Maryville, and formerly of Ravenwood, Missouri, passed away at Maryville Living Center on July 1, 2025.

She was born April 19,1942, in Worth County to Russell and Elizabeth Barger Kemery. She graduated in 1960 from Northeast Nodaway High School as the class valedictorian.

On February 18,1962 she married Willard Turnipseed at the Ravenwood Methodist Church. After almost 33 years of marriage Willard passed away at age 57.

Donna worked several places; Grand River Mutual Telephone Co business office in Ravenwood for 15 years, Northwest Missouri State University, Microtel Hotel, St. Francis Physician Office and retired from SSM St Francis Hospital as a housekeeper at the age of 72.

She was a widow for 20 years, having said she would never get married again, she met Elijah Dailey from Mercer, Missouri, and they married on April 26, 2015, and she moved to his farm in Mercer. Elijah passed away March 2, 2021, and Donna moved to Maryville.

She was a member of the Mercer Methodist Church and Ravenwood Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, Willard & Elijah, brother Bill Kemery, sister Jean Hall, brother-in-law Charles Osborn.

She is survived by her sister, Peggy Osborn, Maryville, nephews Jeff (Natalie) Hall, Ravenwood, Jason (Cathy) Hall, Pete (Jennifer) Hall, Maryville, Jamie (Monica) Hall, Kansas City, Nathan (Cassie) Osborn, Barnard, and nieces Jennifer Osborn, Chrissy (Josh) Emery, Ravenwood, brother-in-law Albert Hall, Ravenwood, many great nieces & nephews and great-great nephews and nieces.

Per Donna’s request, no services will be conducted.  Donna was cremated under the care of Bram Funeral Home.

Burial will be held at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Ravenwood, Missouri at a later date.
