Dianne L. Burns, 62, of Ravenwood, Missouri, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Saturday, September 14th, 2024, at KU Medical Center, Kansas City, KS.
Dianne was born on November 13th, 1961, in Maryville, Missouri to parents Otis and Sandra (Clark) White, who precedes her in death.
Dianne was a graduate of West Nodaway High School in Burlington Junction, Missouri.
On September 12, 1980, she was united in marriage to Ed Burns at the First Christian Church in Burlington Junction, Missouri.
They resided in Burlington Junction, MO until 2003, then moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona. In 2009 they relocated to Warsaw, Missouri and recently returned to Ravenwood, MO.
She was a cook and managed the restaurant at Gray's Truck Stop in Maryville for several years. She then worked as the head cook at John Boise Middle School in Warsaw, Missouri.
Dianne was of Christian faith and enjoyed watching/attending services at The Bridge in Maryville, MO.
She enjoyed baking with her granddaughters and attending their sporting events. Dianne liked cooking for family gatherings. She was a member of the Warsaw Bowling League and attended 3 National Tournaments. Dianne loved spending time with her family playing cards and board games.
She was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, George Peter.
Her husband, Ed survives of the home. She is also survived by her two daughters, Leslie (Craig) Wilmes of Ravenwood, Missouri, and Cassie Burns of Maryville, Missouri. Her three brothers, Randy (Kelly) White of Tarkio, Missouri, Kevin White of Maitland, Missouri, Bruce White of Helena, Missouri, and her sister, Sherry (Craig) Gottswiller of Weatherby, Missouri, her two sisters-in-laws, Cindy White of Maitland, Missouri, and Ronda White of Burlington Junction, Missouri, her two granddaughters Aubrey Wilmes and Emma Wilmes, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at the Bram Funeral Home in Maryville, Missouri.
The burial will follow at the Oak Lawn Cemetery in Ravenwood, Missouri.
The family will meet friends for two hours prior to the service on Wednesday at 9:00am at the funeral home.
