Clarence Michael "Mike" Vinzant

Clarence Michael “Mike” Vinzant, 73, of Maryville, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at the Nodaway Nursing Home in Maryville, with family at his side.

Mike was born in Maryville, on September 23, 1951, to Milo Clarence and Ramona L. (Langley) Vinzant. They preceded him in death. Mike was also preceded by his sister, Barbara Jean Vinzant, his brother, Billy Joe Vinzant, and his brother-in-law, Randy Bever.

Mike had lived for a while in Oklahoma and worked in the oil fields. He also worked at Kawasaki in Maryville and would take on mechanical jobs on the side.

He was very mechanically inclined and would work on anything and enjoyed tinkering. He rode motorcycles and worked on them too and once built a three wheeled trike. He was a diehard Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Mike had attended the Church of the Nazarene, Maryville.

On February 20, 2000, at the Laura Street Baptist Church, Mike was united in marriage to Rhonda Jean Bever, and she survives of the home.

Other survivors include his children, Shane (Ashley Dougherty) Vinzant, Pickering, Missouri, daughter, Heather Ann Vinzant, Maryville, Missouri. His 4 grandchildren, Chance Milo Vinzant, Kayden Vinzant, Brentley Lee Vinzant, and Emberlynn Grace Vinzant, his brothers and sisters-in-law, Rick (Julie) Bever, Shelly (Jim) Steinman, Ryan (Veronica) Bever, Shane (Jeni) Whited, Traci Whited, Jo (Colby) Bever Robbins, Jill (Todd) Bever Thompson, and many nieces and nephews.

Mike has been cremated under the care of the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri.

Memorial celebration of life services are being planned for a later date.
