Charlene Wallace

Vera Charlene Wallace, 89, of Maryville, Missouri passed on to her eternal rest on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at the Maryville Living Center, with family at her side.

Charlene was born in Rulo, Nebraska, on October 12, 1934, to Charles E. and Vera S. (Kermoade) Titus.  She had lived most all her life in NW Missouri, and in Maryville since 2005.  Charlene was a fifth generation grandmother.

She was a caregiver and had cared for several family members over the years.  She had been a waitress in the area.  Charlene attended the Laura Street Baptist Church in Maryville, and she enjoyed dancing at the Eagles Lodge, where she was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary.

On April 2, 1957, Charlene married Thomas Andrew Wallace in Maryville, Missouri.  They enjoyed over 50 years together before his death in 2007.  Her parents also preceded her in death, as well as siblings, Edward, Walter, Lorraine, and Edith.

She leaves behind her children, Edward Wallace, Connie Wallace, Ladonna Wallace, Alice Pike, and Rhonda Wallace, and her siblings, Betty Karas, Shirley Hofmaster, Donna Smith, Bonnie Bantz, Lois Kinnison, John Titus, and Rick Titus, 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Service will be at 1:00 PM, on Monday, March 18, 2024, at the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri.  The burial will follow in the Nodaway Memorial Gardens, also of Maryville.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the family to help with final expenses.  They can be mailed or left at the funeral home, or given directly to Charlene’s granddaughter, Tracy Younger.
