Brian Lee Stambaugh, a beloved resident of Maryville, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 13th, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on April 23rd, 1963, in Shenandoah, Iowa, Brian was a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend.
Brian was preceded in death by his loving parents, Jerry Lee Stambaugh and Pearl Marie Stambaugh, and his long-time friend, Jeff Hale, and brother-in-law, Larry Woods, who were both significant parts of his life. He is survived by his sisters, Barbara Russell of Stover, MO, and Diane Hyatt of Cooper, TX. Brian was a proud uncle to his nieces and nephews: Harvey Woods, Nacole (Charles Swinford) Woods, Shantel (Matt) Hensley, and Amanda Waits.
Brian attended high school and pursued two years of college education, which laid the foundation for his career as a manufacturing laborer. He was a dedicated employee at Laclede Chain in Maryville, Missouri, where he worked diligently.
Outside of work, Brian had a passion for camping and was an avid reader, with a particular fondness for newspapers and books. His love for reading was well-known among his family and friends, who often shared in his enthusiasm for literature.
A visitation to honor and remember Brian's life will be held at Bram Funeral Home in Maryville, MO, on Thursday, June 18th, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. Family, friends, and all whose lives Brian touched are invited to attend and celebrate his memory.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Bram Funeral Home, who have provided compassionate care and support during this difficult time.
Brian Lee Stambaugh will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His gentle spirit, love for the outdoors, and passion for reading will be fondly remembered and cherished by his family and friends.
