Charles K. Cruth

Charles K. Cruth, 80, of Clearmont, MO, passed away on
Saturday, December 26, 2015, at the Nodaway Nursing Home, Maryville, MO.

Charles was born on March 29, 1935, in Lyons, KS. His parents were Alva William and Myrtle May (Wooten)
Cruth, he had lived most all his life in the Clearmont area.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Everett
and Joe Cruth; his sister, Hazel Estabrook; 3 nephews, 2 nieces; and his son in
law, Jeff Danner.

Charles was the co-owner/operator of Cruth Brothers
Fertilizer, Clearmont. He also drove the
school bus for many years at the West Nodaway School District.

He was a member and long-time Deacon at the Clearmont
Christian Church. A volunteer and former
Chief of the Clearmont Fire Department, and a former member of the Clearmont
Lions Club.

On February 28, 1953, in Maryville, MO, Charles was united in
marriage to Georgia Frances Downing. She
survives of the home in Clearmont.

Other survivors include his 3 children, Katherine M. Danner,
Kevin Duane Cruth, and Kenneth Shane Cruth, all of Clearmont; his brother, A.
David (Virginia) Cruth, Clearmont, MO; 4 grandchildren, Katey (Johnathon)
Zimmerman, Ryan (Mattie) Cruth, Brittany (Brandon) Small, and Kelsie Dawn
Cruth; 1 great granddaughter, K’Lynne Zimmerman; and several nieces and
nephews.

The burial will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, at the Oak Hill
Cemetery, Clearmont, for family and close friends.

Celebration of Life Services will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday,
December 31, 2015, at the Clearmont Christian Church, Clearmont, MO.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM, Wednesday,
December 30, 2015, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO.

Memorials are suggested to the Clearmont Christian Church, or
the Oak Hill Cemetery, both of Clearmont, MO.
