Larry Dean Sticken, 50, of Quitman, MO, died unexpectedly on Monday, December 7, 2015, at the Harrison County Hospital, Bethany, MO.
Larry was born on May 3, 1965, in Maryville, MO, and lived most all of his life here. His parents were Herman Jay and Lenora (Lane) Sticken, preceded him in death.
Larry received his GED from Maryville High School. He worked for Porter Trash Co, Maryville, for many years.
On January 1, 1998, he was united in marriage to Sharon Lynn Leighton, and she survives of the home.
Other survivors include his children, Lynette Huber, Carlton (Amanda) Bishop, and Courtney (Colin) Kennard; siblings, H. John Sticken, Jr., Everett (Lori) Sticken, Sherri (Kevin) Volner, and Don Sticken; 11 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Larry’s body has been cremated. His memorial services will be at 10:30 AM, Friday, December 11, 2015, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville. The inurnment will be at a later date.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM, Thursday, December 10, 2015, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family to help with final expenses.
