George Lavain Slagle

George L. Slagle, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2015, in Des Moines, IA. He was born in Alanthus Grove, MO, and graduated from Ravenwood Missouri High School in 1950.

A National Guard veteran, he served two years in Korea.

George worked as a sales representative for many years, and established Slagle Sports Ltd., now of St. Louis, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Marilyn (Slagle) David.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Dolores, his daughter, Linda; 2 brothers, Marlin, Maryville, MO, and Kerry, Sarasota, FL; 3 sisters, Thelma, Shirley, and Nellie; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 18, 2015, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO.
