Carol Elaine Davis 78, of Skidmore, MO, went on to her eternal life with Jesus on Monday, March 23, 2015, at the Golden Living Center, Maryville, MO.
Carol was born on November 10, 1936, in Barnard, MO. Her parents were William Lloyd and Alma Fern (Campbell) Stephens. With the exception of approximately 3 years in El Paso, TX, Carol lived all her life in the area.
She graduated from Quitman High School, class of 1954, and attended Northwest Missouri State College, Maryville. She was a homemaker and the farm manager of the family farm.
On July 18, 1954, at the First United Methodist Church in Maryville, MO, Carol married Russell Wayne Rosenbohm, he preceded her in death. Later she married Jerry Kent Davis, on April 16, 1965, and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her father in 1999, her sister and brother in law, Norma and Ralph McCall, and her brother in law, Orville Hamilton.
Carol was a member of the Graham Union Church, and the former ABC Club, both of Graham. She dedicated her life to women’s Bible studies.
She is survived by her mother, Alma, Kansas City, MO; her children, Stephen Rosenbohm, Albany, MO, Lynda (Doug) Bjorklun, Overland Park, KS, and Alice (Kipp) Meadows, Maitland, MO; 3 siblings, Shirley Hamilton, Ronnie (Rosie)Stephens, and Kathy (Don) Cochran, all of Kansas City, MO; brother in law, Dahlman ”DJ” Davis, Maitland, MO; 4 grandchildren, Stephanie Goodwin, Wichita, KS, Andrea Goodwin, Columbia, MO, Justin (Veronica) Stiens, Maitland, MO, and Eddie (Guthrie) Stiens, Skidmore, MO; 2 great grandchildren, Josie Stiens, and Cooper Stiens; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, March 30, 2015, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO. The burial will follow in the Prairie Home Cemetery, Graham, MO.
The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 PM, Sunday, March 29, 2015, at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the SSM Hospice of NW Missouri, or the Graham Union Church, Graham, MO.
