Linda Sue Smith Murphy, 59, of Maitland, MO, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, September 27, 2014.
Linda was born on March 28, 1955, in Marceline, MO, to Marvin E. and Shirley E. (Bezoni) Smith. She graduated from Trenton Missouri High School, in 1973, and received her C.N.A. training there.
On July 21, 1990, Linda was united in marriage to Dennis Lee Murphy in Chillicothe, MO. They moved to Maitland 23 years ago. Linda was a former resident on Chillicothe and Trenton, MO.
Linda was of the Christian Faith and had been baptized in the 10th Street Baptist Church in Trenton, MO.
Linda was the manager of Poor Boys Kwik Stop in Maitland. She had previously worked as a Meat market manager for WalMart in Maryville, and the manager of the Kwik Stop in Maitland. She also had worked at the Trenton Hy-Vee Food Store.
She is survived by her mother Shirley E. Smith and her father Marvin E. Smith, of Sedalia, MO.

Murphy, of the home in Maitland, MO; her children, Jeff (Julie) Allen, Crane, MO, Jennifer Allen, Maitland, MO, Jeanette Sportsman, St. Joseph, MO, and Katie Murphy, Maitland, MO; step children, Tommy Lee (Michelle) Murphy, Anita, IA, Freddie Murphy, Skidmore, MO, and Louis Murphy, Maitland, MO; 6 brothers, Larry Smith, Sedalia, MO, Garry Smith, San Antonio, TX, Jerry (Lindy) Smith, Chillicothe, MO, Michael (Becky) Smith, Trenton, MO, Robert (Angie) Smith, Pattonsburg, MO, and Ward Smith, Warsaw, MO; 2 uncles, Cecil (Cathy) Bezoni, Columbia, MO, and Charlie (Mickey) Bezoni, Jefferson City, MO; grandchildren, Dylan and Zane Allen, Crane, MO, Shaina and Jackson Culp, and Paisley Allen, Maitland, MO, Alex Sportsman, Avery Dunbar, St. Joseph, MO, Brayden and Liam Nastasio, Maitland, MO; step grandchildren, Amber Delauder, Trenton, MO, Preston, Cavan, and Hunter Murphy, Anita, IA, Madison, Delanie, and Rylan Murphy, Maitland, MO; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 2, 2014, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville MO. The burial will follow in the Prairie Home Cemetery, Graham, MO.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at the funeral home.
