Kevin E. Kent

Kevin E. Kent, 46, of Elmo, MO, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2014, at Heartland Hospital in St. Joseph, MO, following a lengthy illness.

Kevin was born in Maryville, MO, on August 13, 1967, to Paul V. and Marjorie Claire (Alexander) Kent, they preceded him in death.

A lifelong resident of Elmo, Kevin graduated from the West Nodaway High School, class of 1985.  He was of the Christian faith, and was self-employed before becoming disabled.

He is survived by his children, Aaron D. Glidden, Braddyville, IA, Angela D. (Brad) Degase, Maryville, MO, Elizabeth J. Kent, Fairfax, MO, Brittney J. Greene, Amazonia, MO, Marjorie D. Kent, St. Joseph, MO, and Madison C. Kent, Elmo, MO; his siblings, Allen (Becky) Kent, Elmo, MO, Becky Sue (Randy) Broderick, Goodland, IN, and Gary Kent, Shambaugh, IA; 6 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services and burial will be at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at the LaMar Cemetery, Elmo, MO.  The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM Monday, April 28, 2014, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO.

Memorials can be directed to the family to help with final expenses and can be left at the funeral home.
